MARILYN MANSON: European Dates Announced

March 17, 2003

MARILYN MANSON has announced the details of the European portion of his upcoming summer tour.

Dubbed "The Grotesque Burlesque", ' the tour will be even more even more impressive than before.

"It takes what we've done in the past and brings it to a completely different level," Manson told Kerrang! "This is about making everyone a part of your creation. It's realizing that art is more than music, more than people who listen to it, more than people who play it — it's the combination of all that.

"The Grotesque Burlesque is about me not boring myself with conventional concert standards at this point in my career — the idea that I have to be standing in this spot, in front of these people, playing music this way. This will be a tour people won't forget. This will be a movement. They might laugh, they might cry, they might be part of it — but no one will forget it."

The dates are as follows:

May 29 - Rock in Lisbon - Lisbon, POR
May 30 - Festimad - Madrid, ESP
May 31 - Download Festival - Castle Donington, UK
Jun. 06 - Rock Im Park - Nurnburg, GER
Jun. 07 - A Day at the Border - Milan, ITA
